Who I am and what I do

My name is Francesco Martino, I have a master’s degree in Internet Technologies, obtained from the Faculty of Informatic Engineering at the University of Pisa,  and a master’s degree in Kinesiology, from the University of Florence, Faculty of Medicine.

I have been part of the EUI Communications Service since its establishment, and currently lead one of its three units (the EUI Web Unit), and a working group of 120 EUI members.

I am an invited expert member of the W3C internationalization working group. My participation in the W3C activities is one of the many efforts I make to understand and promote accessibility in digital communication services.

My diverse academic background and interests give me distinguished tools to understand and interact in an empathic and inclusive way with people.

I am a social media user manager and I have raised social media communities of over 100K users.

I am inspired by nature, guided by beauty in all its possible forms and ruled by a powerful sense of respect for diversity.
